Benefits of RDMA
Zero-copy – The application software software allows you to edit the data transfer without stacking or data transfer. Data is sent and buffer is not being copied directly into the network layer.
Bypass the kernel: The application can transfer data directly from the user space without the kernel involved.
Any involvement of the CPU: The application can access remote memory without any CPU time on the remote server consuming the application. Any interference (or processor) of memory on the remote server is read without remotely process. In addition, remote CPU’s cache memory content is not accessible.

How to use RDMA?
To use RDMA, you need a network adapter (as the Adapter Mellanox Connect-X family) capable of RDMA.
Link Layer Protocol can be over Ethernet or Infiniband Network – both RDMA-based applications can transfer.
RDMA Inbox Linux, Windows or VMware operating systems are supported. For other operating systems (or advanced) you may need to download and install the appropriate driver package and configure it accordingly.

RoCE converged over Ethernet means RDMA. It is a standard that RDMA traffic is possible to pass through an Ethernet network.
